§404.1735. Entity eligible for direct payment of fees.
20 C.F.R. § 404.1735
An entity is eligible for direct payment of an authorized fee if the entity:
Has an Employer Identification Number;
Has registered with us in the manner we prescribe;
Has not been found ineligible for direct payment;
Designates and maintains an employee who is registered as a representative in the manner we prescribe as a point of contact to speak and act on the entity's behalf;
Accepts payment via electronic funds transfer; and
Conforms to our rules.
