§10.725. When is a Federal grand or petit juror covered under the FECA?
20 C.F.R. § 10.725
Federal grand and petit jurors are covered under the FECA when they are in performance of duty as a juror, which includes that time when a juror is:
In attendance at court pursuant to a summons;
In deliberation;
Sequestered by order of a judge; or
At a site, by order of the court, for the taking of a view.
A juror is not considered to be in the performance of duty while traveling to or from home in connection with the activities enumerated in paragraphs (a) (1) through (4) of this section.
