§1122.2. Definition of “national policy requirement.”
2 C.F.R. § 1122.2
For the purposes of this chapter, a national policy requirement is a requirement:
That is prescribed by a statute, Executive order, policy guidance issued by the Executive Office of the President, or regulation that specifically refers to grants, cooperative agreements, or financial assistance in general;
With which a recipient of a grant or cooperative agreement must comply during the period of performance; and
That is outside subject matter areas covered by administrative requirements in subchapters D or E of this chapter.
