§1202.1. Scope and effective date.

Scope. This part 1202, a consumer product safety standard, prescribes the safety requirements, including labeling requirements, for the matchbook. This part 1202 applies to all matchbooks manufactured in or imported into the United States after its effective date.
Effective date. The effective date shall be May 4, 1978.
