§1112.41. What are the possible adverse actions the CPSC may take against a third party conformity assessment body?
16 C.F.R. § 1112.41
Potential adverse actions against a third party conformity assessment body include—
Denial of Acceptance of Accreditation;
Suspension of Acceptance of Accreditation; or
Withdrawal of Acceptance of Accreditation.
Withdrawal of acceptance of accreditation can be on a temporary or permanent basis, and the CPSC may immediately withdraw its acceptance in accordance with § 1112.53.
