§970.2401. Definitions.
15 C.F.R. § 970.2401
Engage in exploration— means:
To cause or authorize exploration to occur, including but not limited to a person's actions as a sponsor, principal, or purchaser of exploration services; or
To conduct exploration on behalf of a person described in paragraph (a)(1) of this section.
