§450.155. Readiness.
14 C.F.R. § 450.155
General. An operator must document and implement procedures to assess readiness to proceed with the flight of a launch or reentry vehicle. These procedures must address, at a minimum, the following:
Readiness of vehicle and launch, reentry, or landing site, including any contingency abort location;
Readiness of safety-critical personnel, systems, software, procedures, equipment, property, and services; and
Readiness to implement the mishap plan required by § 450.173.
Application requirements. An applicant must—
Demonstrate compliance with the requirements of paragraph (a) of this section through procedures that may include a readiness meeting close in time to flight; and
Describe the criteria for establishing readiness to proceed with the flight of a launch or reentry vehicle so that public safety is maintained.
