§22.195. Ground and flight testing.

14 C.F.R. § 22.195

The aircraft must have been ground and flight tested under documented production acceptance test procedures to—
(a)
Verify aircraft performance data;
(b)
Ensure the aircraft has no hazardous operating characteristics;
(c)
Ensure the aircraft is in a condition for safe operation; and
(d)
Ensure the aircraft can safely conduct towing and any aerial work operation designated by the manufacturer.
