The Inspector General is responsible for:
Making final Agency determinations on appeals related to records originating with the Office of the Inspector General (§ 1212.400), and
Authorizing an extension for making a final determination on an appeal related to records originating with the Office of the Inspector General (§ 1212.400(e)).
