§328.4. Signs for automated teller machines (ATMs) and like devices. — Inbound Citations

  • (b) Except as provided in paragraph (c) of this section, an insured depository institution must clearly, continuously, and conspicuously display the FDIC official digital sign specified in § 328.5(b) on the initial screen of the insured depository institution's ATMs and like devices. For purposes of this paragraph (b), a screen saver or an advertisement for products, services, or events on the screen of an idle ATM is not considered the “initial screen.”
  • (a) This section governs signage for digital deposit-taking channels, including insured depository institutions' websites and web-based or mobile applications, that offer the ability to make deposits electronically and provide access to deposits at insured depository institutions. This section does not apply to ATMs and like devices as described in § 328.4.
