  • (d) The geologic and seismic siting factors considered for design under §§ 53.415 and 53.480 must include, but are not limited to, determination of the potential for surface tectonic and nontectonic deformations, the size and character of seismically induced floods and water waves that could affect a site from either locally or distantly generated seismic activity, soil and rock stability, liquefaction potential, and natural and artificial slope stability.
