Section 1 Short title
This Act may be cited as the “Protecting Children Over Profits Act”.
A BILL
To amend title 18, United States Code, to preclude a provider of electronic communication service or remote computing service from receiving reimbursement or other compensation for information relating to child exploitation, and for other purposes.
“(1) Telephone records—The requirement”
“(2) Child exploitation—The requirement of subsection (a) of this section does not apply with respect to records or other information maintained by a provider of electronic communications service, or remote computing service that relate to child exploitation, as defined in section 2 of the PROTECT Our Children Act of 2008 (34 U.S.C. 21101).”
