To amend the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act to provide relief for members of the uniformed services who homeschool their dependent children, and for other purposes.

“708. Compulsory education and homeschooling laws of States
“(a) In general—A dependent child of a servicemember who is educated at home and is covered by military orders for a permanent change of station to a location shall be considered in compliance with all compulsory education and homeschooling provisions of law of the State of the location, if such dependent child is in compliance with all the compulsory education and homeschooling provisions of law of such State or the State of the legal residence of the servicemember.
“(b) Definition of child—In this section, the term child has the meaning given such term in section 101 of title 38, United States Code.”
