To amend title 49, United States Code, to allow the introduction of certain noncompliant motor vehicle equipment in interstate commerce for testing purposes, and for other purposes.

A BILL

Section 30112(b)(10) of title 49, United States Code, is amended—

(1)

in the matter preceding subparagraph (A)—

(A)

by inserting “or an item of motor vehicle equipment” after “introduction of a motor vehicle”; and

(B)

by inserting “or item of motor vehicle equipment” after “the motor vehicle”; and

(2)

in subparagraph (A), by inserting “or items of motor vehicle equipment” after “motor vehicles”.
