Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Justice Grant Reauthorization Act

A BILL

To amend the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 to reauthorize the Comprehensive Opioid Abuse Grant Program of the Department of Justice.

Section 1 Short title

This Act may be cited as the “Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Justice Grant Reauthorization Act”.

Sec. 2 Reauthorization

Section 1001(a)(27) of title I of the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 (34 U.S.C. 10261(a)(27)) is amended—
(1)
by striking “$103,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2017 and 2018, and”; and
(2)
by striking “2019 through 2023” and inserting “2026 through 2030”.
