This Act may be cited as the “Special Diabetes Program Reauthorization Act of 2025”.
Special Diabetes Program Reauthorization Act of 2025
A BILL
To reauthorize the Special Diabetes Program for Type 1 Diabetes and the Special Diabetes Program for Indians.
Sec. 2 Extension of programs
Special diabetes programs for type I diabetes— Section 330B(b)(2) of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 254c–2(b)(2)) is amended—
in subparagraph (F), by striking “; and” and inserting a semicolon;
in subparagraph (G), by striking the period at the end and inserting a semicolon; and
by adding at the end the following:
“(H) $160,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2026 and 2027, to remain available until expended; and
“(I) $40,000,000 for the period beginning on October 1, 2027, and ending on December 31, 2027, to remain available until expended.”
Special diabetes program for Indians— Section 330C(c)(2) of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 254c–3(c)(2)) is amended—
in subparagraph (F), by striking “; and” and inserting a semicolon;
in subparagraph (G), by striking the period at the end and inserting a semicolon; and
by adding at the end the following:
“(H) $160,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2026 and 2027, to remain available until expended; and
“(I) $40,000,000 for the period beginning on October 1, 2027, and ending on December 31, 2027, to remain available until expended.”
