A BILL
To amend the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2023, to expand the replacement of stolen EBT benefits under the supplemental nutrition assistance program.
Sec. 2 Replacement of stolen EBT benefits
Section 501(b)(2) of division HH of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2023 (7 U.S.C. 2016a(b)(2)) is amended—
by striking subparagraph (A) and inserting the following:
“(A) shall be equal to the amount of benefits stolen from the household; and”
in subparagraph (B), by striking “and” at the end; and
by striking subparagraph (C).
