No Union Time on the Taxpayer's Dime Act
A BILL
To amend title 5, United States Code, to eliminate the use of official time by Federal employees.
Sec. 2 Elimination of official time
In general— Section 7131 of title 5, United States Code, is amended to read as follows:
“7131. Elimination of official time
“Any activities performed by an employee relating to the business of a labor organization shall be performed during the time the employee is in a non-duty status.”
Clerical amendment— The table of sections for subchapter IV of chapter 71 of title 5, United States Code, is amended by striking the item relating to section 7131 and inserting the following:
