recognizes the 125th anniversary of Okinawan immigration to the United States and the historic contributions of Okinawan Americans to the Nation;

reaffirms the unique cultural and people-to-people ties between the United States and Okinawa; and

urges the people of the United States to honor the 125th anniversary of Okinawan immigration to the United States with appropriate programs and activities.
