(a)
Memorandum of understanding— The Secretary of Housing and Urban Development shall enter into a memorandum of understanding, or other appropriate interagency agreement, with the Administrator of the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Administrator of the Small Business Administration to share relevant disaster relief data for the purpose of increasing efficiency and mitigating waste, fraud, and abuse across disaster recovery programs administered by the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development.

Report— Not later than 180 days after the date of enactment of this section, the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development shall submit to the Committee on Financial Services of the House of Representatives and the Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs of the Senate a report containing a description of opportunities for increased collaboration between the Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, and the Small Business Administration to improve Department of Housing and Urban Development efficiencies in Department of Housing and Urban Development disaster recovery programs.
