Maintaining Small Business Engagement Act of 2026

A BILL

To clarify the applicability of certain provisions of the Administrative Procedures Act to certain actions of the Small Business Administration, and for other purposes.

Section 1 Short title

This Act may be cited as the “Maintaining Small Business Engagement Act of 2026”.

Sec. 2 Applicability of Administrative Procedures Act to certain actions of the Small Business Administration

Notwithstanding section 553(a)(2) of title 5, United States Code, such section 553 shall apply with respect to a rulemaking of the Small Business Administration that involves a matter relating to public property, loans, grants, benefits, or contracts.
