This Act may be cited as the “Federal Lands Lawful Carry Act”.
Federal Lands Lawful Carry Act
A BILL
To authorize possession of a firearm in certain units and facilities of the Federal Government, and for other purposes.
Sec. 2 Exception to firearm prohibition
Section 930 of title 18, United States Code, is amended—
in subsection (d), by inserting after paragraph (3) the following:
in subsection (g), by adding at the end the following:
“(4) The term “exempted area” means any unit or Federal facility that—
“(A) is owned or leased by the Bureau of Land Management, the Bureau of Reclamation, the National Forest System, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the National Park System, the National Wildlife Refuge System, the Tennessee Valley Authority, and the United States Army Corps of Engineers; and
“(B) is an area open to visitors and invitees to the unit or Federal facility.”
