A BILL
To expand the Gun Free School Zones Act, and for other purposes.
Sec. 2 Expansion of the Gun Free School Zones Act
Section 921(a)(27) of title 18, United States Code, is amended—
by striking “means a school which” and inserting the following:
“(A) a school which”
by striking the period at the end and inserting a semicolon; and
by adding at the end the following:
“(B) an early childhood education program (as defined in section 103 of the Higher Education Act of 1965 (20 U.S.C. 1003)); and
“(C) a preschool (which has the meaning given the term “eligible preschool program” in section 428K(g) of the Higher Education Act of 1965 (20 U.S.C. 1078–11(g))).”
