A BILL
To amend the National Science Foundation Authorization Act of 2002 and the Research and Development, Competition, and Innovation Act to repeal cost-sharing with respect to the Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program, and for other purposes.
Sec. 2 Repeal of cost-sharing with respect to the Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program
In general— Section 10A of the National Science Foundation Authorization Act of 2002 (42 U.S.C. 1862n–1a) is amended—
by striking subsection (i); and
by redesignating subsections (j) and (k) as subsections (i) and (j), respectively.
Conforming amendments— Section 10320 of the Research and Development, Competition, and Innovation Act (42 U.S.C. 18998) is amended—
in subsection (a)—
by striking “requirements” and inserting “requirement”;
by striking “forthe” and inserting “for the”; and
by striking “and under” and all that follows through “are” and inserting “is”; and
in subsection (b), by striking “waivers” each place it appears and inserting “waiver”.
