A BILL

To guide the foreign policy of the United States, and for other purposes.

(a)

Short title— This Act may be cited as the “Department of State Policy Provisions Act”.

(b)

Table of contents— The table of contents for this Act is as follows:

In this Act—

(1)

except as otherwise provided, the term appropriate congressional committees means—

(A)

the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the House of Representatives; and

(B)

the Committee on Foreign Relations of the Senate;

(2)

the term Department means the Department of State;

(3)

the term Deputy Secretary means the Deputy Secretary of State; and

(4)

the term Secretary means the Secretary of State.
