This Act may be cited as the “Eliminate DEI in the Military Act”.
Eliminate DEI in the Military Act
A BILL
To prohibit the use of Federal funds for any DEI activity in the Armed Forces, and for other purposes.
Sec. 2 Prohibition on use of funds for diversity, equity, and inclusion activities in the military
In general— No Federal funds may be obligated or expended for any DEI activity of—
an Armed Force;
a national service academy; or
the Department of Defense.
Definitions— In this section:
The term DEI activity includes, with respect to diversity, equity, and inclusion—
a training;
a program;
educational material;
a position of employment; and
an appointment.
The term national service academy means the United States Military Academy, the United States Naval Academy, the United States Air Force Academy, the United States Coast Guard Academy, or the United States Merchant Marine Academy.
