Sec. 2 Restriction on service in the executive branch (a) Restriction— ⋯ (1) In general— Any individual who served or was employed as a chief executive officer at an entity and was finally convicted of a covered crime shall be ineligible for appointment to a position in the executive branch. ⋯ (2) Covered crime defined— The term covered crime means any of the following: ⋯ (A) Bribery. ⋯ (B) Copyright infringement. ⋯ (C) Corruption. ⋯ (D) Cybercrime. ⋯ (E) Embezzlement. ⋯ (F) Fraud. ⋯ (G) Insider trading. ⋯ (H) Wage theft. ⋯ (I) Tax evasion. ⋯ (b) Penalty— Any individual found in violation of this section shall be removed from service or employment in the executive branch. ⋯
