Section 1 Short title
This Act may be cited as the “Persian Gulf Act”.

A BILL
To prohibit the use of Federal funds to rename the Persian Gulf, and for other purposes.
Sec. 2 Prohibition on use of Federal funds to rename Persian Gulf
In general— Notwithstanding any other provision of law, no Federal funds are authorized to be appropriated or otherwise made available to rename the Persian Gulf.
References— No law, map, regulation, document, paper, or other record of the United States may refer to the Persian Gulf by a different name without express authorization of Congress.
