A BILL
To amend the Homeland Security Act of 2002 to prohibit certain advertising with respect to the Immigration Detention Ombudsman, and for other purposes.
Sec. 2 Prohibition on certain advertising with respect to the Immigration Detention Ombudsman
Section 405 of the Homeland Security Act of 2002 (6 U.S.C. 205) is amended by adding at the end the following new subsection:
“(f) Advertisement—The Secretary may not obligate or expend any funds to advertise to the general public, by billboard or otherwise, the office or functions of the Ombudsman.”
