H.R. 10155 (Introduced in House) — To amend title 10, United States Code, to include certain prior active duty as a regular member of an Armed Force for reduced eligibility age for retirement as a member of the reserve components.

(a)

In general— Section 12731(f)(2) of title 10, United States Code, is amended—

(1)

in subparagraph (A), by striking “as a member of the Ready Reserve”; and

(2)

in subparagraph (B), by adding at the end the following new clause:

“(v) Service on active duty described in this subparagraph is also service on active duty as a regular member.”

(b)

Retroactive applicability— The amendments made by subsection (a) shall apply to qualifying service on active duty performed after January 28, 2008.
