To require the President to carry out the hazard mitigation program under the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act.
Sec. 2 Hazard mitigation
Section 404(a) of the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act (42 U.S.C. 5170c(a)) is amended by striking “The President may” and inserting “The President shall”.
