RESOLUTION

That the Senate—

(1)

honors and congratulates Vanderbilt University on the occasion of its 150th anniversary;

(2)

commends Vanderbilt University for its remarkable history of seminal research and educating generations of leaders, scientists, teachers, nurses, doctors, and engineers; and

(3)

respectfully requests that the Secretary of the Senate transmit an enrolled copy of this resolution to—

(A)

the Chancellor of Vanderbilt University, Daniel Diermeier; and

(B)

the Chair of the Board of Trust, Bruce R. Evans.
