Section 1 Short title; table of contents

(a)

Short title— This Act may be cited as the “STRATEGIC Act of 2024”.

(b)

Table of contents— The table of contents for this Act is as follows:

Sec. 2 Definitions

In this Act:

(1)

Appropriate congressional committees— Except as provided in sections 125(b), 210, 211, 303, 313, 323, 411, and 452, part IV of subtitle B of title IV, and title VI, the term appropriate congressional committees means—

(A)

the Committee on Foreign Relations of the Senate; and

(B)

the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the House of Representatives.

(2)

PRC— The term PRC means the People’s Republic of China.

(3)

Secretary— The term Secretary means the Secretary of State.
