Sec. 2 Grants to assist victims of trafficking

Section 107(b)(2) of the Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2000 (22 U.S.C. 7105(b)(2)) is amended—

(1)
removed in subparagraph (A), by striking “human” and inserting “a severe form of”;
(1)
renumbered was (4) in subparagraph (B)—
(A)
renumbered was (4)(2) in the matter preceding clause (i), by striking “shall” and insert “may”;
(B)
renumbered was (4)(3) in clause (i), by striking “three percent” and inserting “ up to 7 percent”;
(C)
renumbered was (4)(4) in clause (ii)—
(i)
renumbered was (4)(4)(2) by striking “5 percent” and inserting “up to 10 percent”; and
(ii)
renumbered was (4)(4)(3) by inserting “and strengthening program administration and budgeting” after “activities”; and
(D)
added in clause (iii), by striking “one percent” and inserting “up to 1 percent”; and
(2)
added in subparagraph (C), strike “75 percent” and insert “95 percent”.

(3)
