Section 1 Arbitration of disputes involving human trafficking
In general— Chapter 4 of title 9, United States Code, is amended—
in the heading, by striking “assault and sexual harassment” and inserting “assault, sexual harassment, and human trafficking”;
in section 401—
by redesignating paragraphs (1) through (4) as paragraphs (2) through (5), respectively; and
by inserting before paragraph (2), as so redesignated, the following:
“(1) Human trafficking dispute—The term human trafficking dispute means a dispute relating to conduct prohibited by—
“(A) chapter 77 of title 18; or
“(B) Tribal or State laws prohibiting human trafficking.”
in section 402(a)—
by striking “dispute or sexual assault dispute” and inserting “dispute, sexual assault dispute, or human trafficking dispute”; and
by striking “dispute or the sexual harassment dispute” and inserting “dispute, sexual harassment dispute, or human trafficking dispute”.
Technical and conforming amendment— The table of chapters for title 9, United States Code, is amended by striking the item relating to chapter 4 and inserting the following:
