Section 1 Short title
This Act may be cited as the “Pet and Women Safety Reauthorization Act of 2023” or the “PAWS Reauthorization Act of 2023”.

To amend the Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018 to reauthorize the emergency and transitional pet shelter and housing assistance grant program.
Sec. 2 Emergency and Transitional Pet Shelter and Housing Assistance Grant Program
Section 12502(b)(8)(A) of the Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018 (34 U.S.C. 20127(8)(A)) is amended by striking “2019 through 2023” and inserting “2024 through 2028”.
