Section 1 Exclusion of air emissions from animals waste at farms from emergency notification requirements

Section 304(a)(4) of the Emergency Planning and Community Right-To-Know Act of 1986 (42 U.S.C. 11004(a)(4)) is amended—

(1)

by striking the period at the end and inserting “; or”;

(2)

by striking “release which” and inserting the following: “release—

“(A) that”

(3)

by adding at the end the following:

“(B) of air emissions from animal waste (as defined in section 103(e)(2) of CERCLA (42 U.S.C. 9603(e)(2)) (including decomposing animal waste) at a farm (as defined in that section).”
