Respect for Hispanic Americans Act

A BILL

To prohibit agencies from using the term Latinx in official communications or forms.

This Act may be cited as the “Respect for Hispanic Americans Act”.

(a)

Agency defined— In this section, the term agency has the meaning given the term in section 551 of title 5, United States Code.

(b)

Prohibition— The head of an agency and any employee of the agency may not use the term Latinx in any official communication or form of the agency.
