A BILL
To amend the Federal Agriculture Improvement and Reform Act of 1996 to make additional coverage under the Noninsured Crop Disaster Assistance Program available for crops and grasses used for grazing, and for other purposes.
Sec. 2 Noninsured crop disaster assistance program
In general— Section 196 of the Federal Agriculture Improvement and Reform Act of 1996 (7 U.S.C. 7333) is amended—
in subsection (a)(1)(A)(ii), by striking “except in the case of crops and grasses used for grazing,”; and
in subsection (l)(1), in the matter preceding subparagraph (A), by striking “(other than for crops and grasses used for grazing)”.
Regulations— Not later than 90 days after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Agriculture shall promulgate regulations to carry out the amendments made by subsection (a).
