FAA Reauthorization Act of 2023

To amend title 49, United States Code, to authorize appropriations for the Federal Aviation Administration for fiscal years 2024 through 2028, and for other purposes.

Section 1 Short title; table of contents

(a)
Short title— This Act may be cited as the “FAA Reauthorization Act of 2023”.
(b)
Table of contents— The table of contents for this Act is as follows:

Sec. 2 Definitions

In this Act:
(1)
Administrator— Unless otherwise specified, the term Administrator means the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration.
(2)
Appropriate committees of Congress— The term appropriate committees of Congress means the Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation of the Senate and the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure of the House of Representatives.
(3)
Comptroller General— The term Comptroller General means the Comptroller General of the United States.
(4)
FAA— The term FAA means the Federal Aviation Administration.
(5)
Secretary— Unless otherwise specified, the term Secretary means the Secretary of Transportation.
