This Act may be cited as the “Protection of Child Victims from Online Predators Act”.
Protection of Child Victims from Online Predators Act
A BILL
To amend title 18, United States Code, to clarify that private, one-on-one communications constitute a notice or advertisement for purposes of the Federal crime of making a notice or advertisement to seek or offer child pornography.
Sec. 2 Amendment to title 18, United States Code
Section 2251(d) of title 18, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following:
“(3) For purposes of this subsection, a notice or advertisement can occur in a private, one-on-one communication.”
