H.R. 9496 (Introduced in House) — To amend title 38, United States Code, to include a representative of the National Association of State Veterans Homes on the Geriatrics and Gerontology Advisory Committee of the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Section 1 Inclusion of representative of National Association of State Veterans Homes on Department of Veterans Affairs Geriatrics and Gerontology Advisory Committee

Section 7315(a) of title 38, United States Code, is amended—

(1)

by inserting “, in consultation with the President of the National Association of State Veterans Homes with respect to matters concerning such association” after “Under Secretary for Health”; and

(2)

by inserting “and one representative of the National Association of State Veterans Homes who holds a professional license in nursing home administration” before the period at the end of the second sentence.

To amend title 38, United States Code, to include a representative of the National Association of State Veterans Homes on the Geriatrics and Gerontology Advisory Committee of the Department of Veterans Affairs.
