Allocating Liability to Illegal Entrants in National Courts Act

A BILL

To authorize a court to award restitution for unlawful entry and presence in the United States, and for other purposes.

This Act may be cited as the “Allocating Liability to Illegal Entrants in National Courts Act” or the “ALIEN Act”.

Section 3663(a) of title 18, United States Code, is amended—

(1)

by striking “or section 5124” and inserting “section 5124”; and

(2)

by inserting “or section 275(a) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1325(a)),” before “other than an offense”.
