Prioritizing PFAS-Free Cleaning Products Act

A BILL

To direct the Secretary of Defense to procure cleaning products that are identified by the Safer Choice program, and for other purposes.

This Act may be cited as the “Prioritizing PFAS-Free Cleaning Products Act”.

The Secretary of Defense shall, to the maximum extent practicable, only procure cleaning products that are identified by—

(1)

the Safer Choice program; or

(2)

an independent third-party organization that provides certifications in a manner consistent with the Safer Choice program.
