Sec. 2 Amtrak reports and audits

added Section 24315(a) of title 49, United States Code, is amended—

(a)
removed Briefing— Not later than 30 days before Amtrak awards performance-based bonus compensation to an Amtrak executive, Amtrak shall brief the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure of the House of Representatives and the Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation of the Senate on the proposed bonus and the criteria and metrics used to calculate such a bonus.

changed Public disclosure— Amtrak shall publish in by inserting “, and make available to the Federal Register—public on the website of Amtrak,” after “submit to Congress”; and
(1)
removed notice of any bonus compensation awarded to an Amtrak executive not later than 30 days after awarding such bonus; and
(2)
removed an explanation of the criteria and metrics used to calculate such bonus.
(2)
changed Amtrak executive defined— In this section, the term “Amtrak executive” means a full-time employee of Amtrak in a management position, including by striking paragraph (2) and inserting the following positions:following:

added “(2) provide the annual base pay and any bonus compensation paid to a member of the executive leadership team (including the chief executive officer, president, and officers) of Amtrak, including the criteria and metrics used to determine any such bonus compensation; and”
