To require the implementation of the Migrant Protection Protocols at the northern border of the United States.
Sec. 2 Implementation of MPP at the northern border
The Secretary of Homeland Security shall, as of the date of enactment of this Act, begin implementation of the Migrant Protection Protocols in accordance with the memorandum of Secretary of Homeland Security Nielsen entitled “Policy Guidance for Implementation of the Migrant Protection Protocols”, dated January 25, 2019, except that such protocols shall be implemented with regard to the border between the United States and Canada.
