Reserve and National Guard Military Leave Enhancement Act

A BILL

To amend section 6323 of title 5, United States Code, to increase the rate at which military leave accrues for members of the Reserve and the National Guard from 15 days to 30 days per year, and for other purposes.

Section 1 Short title

This Act may be cited as the “Reserve and National Guard Military Leave Enhancement Act”.

Sec. 2 Increase in leave accrual for military service of certain Federal employees

Section 6323(a)(1) of title 5, United States Code, is amended—
(1)
by striking “15 days per fiscal year” and inserting “30 days per fiscal year”; and
(2)
by striking “until it totals 15 days at the beginning of a fiscal year”.
