(a)
In general— In making a decision under paragraph (1) of section 47119(a) of title 49, United States Code, the Secretary of Transportation may approve as allowable costs under such section the expenses of security measures in a revenue producing parking lot, including—
(4)
analytical tools to be developed in partnership with law enforcement to identify criminal trends; and
(5)
any other measure the Secretary determines to be appropriate.
(b)
Applicability— The authority to approve allowable costs for security measures under subsection (a) shall terminate on December 31, 2025.
(c)
Report— Not later than December 31, 2025, the Comptroller General of the United States shall submit to the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure of the House of Representatives and the Committee on Science, Commerce, and Transportation of the Senate a report describing—

recommendations for updating the airport improvement program under subchapter I of chapter 471 of such title.
