Hunger Clearinghouse Enhancement Act of 2023
A BILL
To amend the Richard B. Russell National School Lunch Act to fund the information clearinghouse through fiscal year 2031, and for other purposes.
Sec. 2 Information clearinghouse
Section 26 of the Richard B. Russell National School Lunch Act (42 U.S.C. 1769g(d)) is amended—
in subsection (a)—
by inserting “, including information with respect to the utilization of trained volunteers,” after “provide information”; and
by inserting “resources that address ways to prevent hunger, ” after “food assistance, ”; and
in subsection (d), by striking “and $250,000 for each of fiscal years 2010 through 2024” and inserting “and $750,000 for each of fiscal years 2024 through 2031”.
