This Act may be cited as the “PFAS Health Study Act of 2023”.

A BILL
To amend the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2018 to extend the increased transfer authority for a certain study on per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances contamination in drinking water, and for other purposes.
Sec. 2 Extension of increased transfer authority for funding of certain study on per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances contamination in drinking water
Section 316(a)(2)(B)(iii) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2018 (Public Law 115–91; 131 Stat. 1350), as most recently amended by section 342 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2023 (Public Law 117–263; 136 Stat. 2529), is further amended by striking “during fiscal year 2023” and inserting “a year during fiscal years 2023 through 2024”.
